Set against the vibrant cultural backdrop of late-1940s Dadaocheng, the film follows young artists, performers, and intellectuals whose dreams, love, and creative pursuits are shattered by political upheaval, culminating in the 228 Massacre (1947) and the beginning of the White Terror.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in; line-height: normal; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;"><span style="color: white;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in; line-height: normal; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;"><span style="color: white;">The love story between A-Jin and Nuan-Yu serves as a metaphor for Taiwan's tragic historical fate while reflecting a generation's pursuit of cultural enlightenment and artistic expression in the face of oppression. Through their journey, the film invites viewers to reflect on how ordinary people confront injustice and endure the weight of history.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in; line-height: normal; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;"><span style="color: white;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in; line-height: normal; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;"><span style="color: white;">Movie will be shown with English subtitles.
