The New Parkway Theater is located in the Uptown/KoNo section of Oakland, near the corner of Telegraph Avenue and 24th Street.

We recommend coming to the theater on foot, by bike, or public transportation when possible. We are close to several key bus lines, including 51, 1, and 72, and we are a six-minute walk from the 19th Street BART station.

We also have ample outdoor bike parking. Patrons entering the theater carrying a bike helmet will receive a $1 discount, which may not be combined with other offers.

We sadly no longer have a parking lot. Street parking can be tricky, but patrons are generally able to find parking within a four-block radius of the theater. Please allow ample time and review the parking guide below.

YMCA Garage — Recommended 2353 Webster St, entrance on Webster between 23rd and 24th.
$5 on weekends and evenings after 5pm when you use their App.

Douglas Parking Lot #54 23rd St and Webster St, northwest corner.
$17 weeknight flat rate, $7 Saturday and Sunday flat rate.
Pay by phone using Passport Parking app Zone 5162 or Quickpay mobile app Lot 1047.
33 total spaces.

The Hive — Closest but Most Expensive 2335 Broadway Ave, enter on 24th St.
74 standard spaces and 5 disabled spaces. 838 West Street Garage 838 West St, entrance on 23rd St.
$6 per hour.
Garage closes Monday-Wednesday at 9pm and Thursday-Saturday at 10pm.

City of Oakland Parking 21st St and Telegraph Ave.
$1 per 15 minutes. More expensive on special event nights, including First Fridays.
Monday-Friday gates close at 7pm and Saturdays at 6pm.
Over 100 spaces.

Douglas Parking 22nd St and Telegraph Ave.
Rates unknown.
Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm.
Attendant on duty. May have to leave keys. Douglas Parking 21st St and Broadway Ave, southwest corner.
$3 per hour Monday-Friday until 4pm. $5 flat rate after 4pm and on weekends.

Metered Street Parking: Options are available on Broadway Ave, Telegraph Ave, Grand Ave, and 20th through 27th Streets. Meters run Monday through Saturday until 6pm.

Unmetered Street Parking: The largest concentration of unmetered parking is on Northgate Ave between Grand and 27th Streets.
